Yeeld announces official partnership with Merit Holdings

Yeeld is proud to announce its partnership with Merit Software Holdings – a holding company that acquires, manages, and builds vertical software businesses where success is measured in decades, not quarters or years. Through this partnership, Yeeld will function as an embedded payments consulting partner for Merit’s portfolio companies, helping their teams ideate, develop, and launch world-class payments and other embedded FinTech products to their customers.

Yeeld is unique as it is a consulting and integration firm founded by ex-Stripe employees Emily Tsitrian and Mira Boora, but is overall focused on payments technology as a comprehensive category. As such, Yeeld’s consultants and integration engineers bring a fresh, customer-first perspective, formed during their collective tenure working at Stripe and many other companies, helping customers go live quickly and correctly the first time.

These experiences shape how Yeeld delivers its services, and allows Yeeld to offer a wide range of targeted offerings that meet the specific needs of its customers, from developer augmentation to managing risk and monetization strategy.

Merit Holdings is a Chicago-based team of operators and investors with a proven track record in scaling software companies. Their leadership and investor network brings a differentiated growth mindset to portfolio companies, as they build longer-term strategies for more enduring growth.

Yeeld and Merit both believe that online payments, vertical SaaS, and embedded finance will drive much of the economic growth over the next decade, and plan to leverage the partnership to help Merit’s companies grow and thrive.

Emily Tsitrian, the CEO of Yeeld says: “We’re proud to share this news as we build our unique payments technology consulting business, and felt a strong values alignment with the leadership team with Merit from our first conversations. We’re excited to help accelerate  the growth of some of the world’s best software businesses through this partnership.”

John Burke, the CEO of Merit had the following comment: “We are thrilled to announce Yeeld’s platform services and technical expertise will now be available to Merit’s entire portfolio.  Payments monetization provides a game-changing financial lever for companies and is foundational to unlock new verticals and drive efficiency. We are excited to leverage the deep industry expertise from the Yeeld team to further accelerate growth and deliver even greater value to our customers, portfolio and future acquisitions. We appreciate their customer-centric approach and look forward to the exciting opportunities this partnership will bring.
